Meet the Fashion Detective: Graham Wetzbarger
By the Numbers
Our Mission
The Fashion Detective was founded with a singular mission: to bring trust and transparency to the luxury resale market. In a world where counterfeit goods are becoming increasingly sophisticated, we provide the expert eye and rigorous methodology needed to verify authenticity.
Our team of trained authenticators specializes in luxury handbags, watches, shoes, clothing, accessories, and jewelry from the world's most prestigious fashion houses. Each item undergoes a thorough examination using industry-leading techniques developed over years of dedicated study.
Our Process
Every authentication begins with high-resolution photographs of your item. Our experts examine materials, stitching, hardware, serial numbers, date codes, and brand-specific markers. We cross-reference against our extensive database of authentic examples and known counterfeit patterns.
For appraisals, we additionally assess condition, market value, provenance, and comparable sales data to provide a comprehensive valuation report.
