Ann Demeulemeester, born Ann Verhelst, is a Belgian fashion designer. A year after she graduated from the academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Ann won the Golden Spoel, a coveted award given to the year’s most promising fashion designer. In 1991, along with her husband, she launched her own company, Ann Demeulemeester-Verhelst. The flagship store is located in Antwerp, Belgium. The brand is known for its glamorous designs and elegant tailoring for both men and women.
